OUR CULTURE / MANAGEMENT PHILOSOPHY
We are, first and foremost, skilled professionals with many years of achievement within the construction industry. We work to the guiding principle that project success in a capital Improvement program is best managed by using a thoroughly planned, process driven approach. This is fully accepted by our team as the underlying principle behind all our efforts. There are six key steps in the methodology in order for the process to achieve its end goals:
- Establish an organizational structure identifying defined levels of responsibility and accountability.
- Identify precisely and document the program or project scope.
- Define clearly what deliverables are required.
- Set milestones and establish a time line.
- Develop a system of controls to dynamically manage overall goals, budgets and schedule.
- Agreement on a reporting structure so that all levels of management are supplied with the data needed to make timely and informed decisions.
Each individual large capital improvement program will encounter issues which may have serious consequences. This can lead to a tendency to alter and re-state the process to quickly resolve a short term impact. We at E. Fitzgerald Inc. have learned by experience and over many successful projects that this may cause the process to become unsound and ineffective, and ultimately result in a product that fails to meet the original expectations of the client.
